Our History
As electrical industry veterans, the team that founded Conteast Cables in 2019 saw an opportunity to meet the high demand of cables and wire with a primary focus on empowering electrical distributors and retailers with technology that delivers a faster-smarter way of managing their wire & cable businesses. Since then, Conteast has continued to scale up through a series of acquisitions and expansion into international sales and the establishment of partnerships with distributors and assembly services.
Through all of this growth and expansion, We have stayed firmly rooted in our original values and continues to operate out of our headquarters in Harare. We are ISO, iEC & SABS Standards Certified.

Our Hardworking Team
Chrispen Nyakunu
Chief Executive OfficerChrispen Nyakunu is the CEO of Conteast Cables. Chrispen has been in the wire and cable industry for years now. His extensive wire and cable background include sales, marketing and management roles with several organizations such as General Cables, Norco Cables and Kei Cables. Chrispen served as an Exports Manager for Africa and the Middle East with Norco Cables. Chrispen holds a BCom in Marketing from IMM as well as a Diploma in Exports Management and a Diploma in Education.
Alexander Nyakunu
Company SecretaryAlexander Nyakunu oversees the day to day business for Conteast Cables. He has over 30 years of Management experience with Blue Chip Companies such as Zimoco, CFI, Costain and Leyland Zimbabwe. Throughout his careers he has attained the following qualifications: an MBA, Bachelor of Business Studies, and a Diploma in Human Resources Management. He sits on the following boards: ST Giles Rehab Centre, Zimbabwe Agricultural Society and is a former President of the Motor Industry Employers Association.
